Rain fell from her eyes as she watched him go
And thunder crashed when he slammed the door
She can't believe he looked her in the eyes and told her
"I don't need you anymore"
Things have changed since she was just a baby
She used to hold him tight
But now on stormy nights

She wonders if he's okay
And she doesn't even know if it's raining where he is

She prays that God will keep him in the eye
