THIS IS NOT A NEW ALBUM. In fact, this year is the 20th anniversary of Taken, Cherie Call's debut album. Cherie teamed up with songwriting classmates Tyler Castleton and Alexander Jenkins to independently make this album. Tyler was the music producer, and Alexander was the recording engineer. They recorded late at night at Digital Source Studios in American Fork, Utah, where Alexander was working at the time. Cherie picked up the tab by using her grocery money to pay for studio time and musicians, every few months when she could swing it. The album was moderately successful and opened some important doors for Cherie. It's a lesser known title, but a fun collectors item for Cherie's fans.

Cherie Call was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. She has released 9 full length albums of her original songs. Cherie's 10th project is an EP of Christmas music called, "A Merry Little Christmas. Cherie has played “in the round” at Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe and has been a finalist in the Kerrville Newfolk songwriting competition.
